Why I Started An Online Business
Financial Confidence
My first motivation to start an online business was to help support the care for my mother, who is disabled. To have financial confidence means that I am prepared and able to manage money instead of letting money manages me. It opens more options where I can make career decisions and provide quality to life.
Time Freedom
I always want to be able to work anytime whenever I am most productive, without the need to ask for approval. Having my own online business not only gives me that flexibility, but also allows me to work anywhere in the world as long as the Internet is available. Be able to connect to like minded people in the world is a wonderful feeling.
Purposeful Life
While I am grateful to have a day job that provides steady income, I also spend a good quality of time each day working for other people’s goals and timelines. Having an online business opens another door where I can focus on my vision. It motivates me to dig deep into my heart and be accountable for my decisions. Each day is a thankful day.

It was one of my best moments. I was filled with the appreciation in life, bowing to people who had supported and grew with me through good and bad times.
Choosing the right career path could be as simple as opening the sealed box and start using the talents in it. Make effort to renew our mind each day, checking where we are and where we want to be.
After college I had worked as a music instructor, completed two graduate studies, became a housewife, and started my own music studio from home. To manage my studio, I learned to use the computer as a tool, and later expanded the skills to work full-time as a software developer.
Now I am drawn to the digital marketing industry. Why? Because...
No Business Can Be Successful Without Marketing
From knowing nothing about marketing to starting my own business, at the beginning it was just a means for me to earn more income to care for our mother, and to be able to travel back more often to visit her on the other side of the earth.
But as I continue to implement, I realize that it has sharpened Me, my Mindset, more than anything!
I've begun to pay attention to the marketing strategy when I look at a product, learn from the value a company delivers, and observe the transparency of its leadership.
By overcoming hurdles, I also put myself in the shoes of many others, which enable me to help the like minded newbies.
Internet has changed everything. No business in the future is going to survive without an online presence. As an entrepreneur my challenge is me.
I ask myself these questions:
- Is it possible for me to profit from working on my interests every day?
- Can I use a platform currently available to accomplish that?
- Can I be the right person who delivers values to someone who needs them?
Certainly!
There is a market for everyone, because there are always people whose values are similar to mine.
So how do I get there?
Find a good source to learn and start implementing.
